This is the second most northern course in the world.When the A 8 C was first created it was North Cape Golf Club , hence why I played that too.The Kvalsund/Hammerfest Golf Club is only 5 years old so it took the place as the most northerly, well there is a course that is even more north..That course is located in Ulukhaktok on Victoria island, Canada.

They have a celebrity tournament there every year the 3rd week of July, I am tempted to join that adventure!

Now I will be the first to have played this course in the challenge, that is cool! For me it will be 9 courses,one bonus course…for the original Awesome Eight  Challenge, a must for the Bader Awesome Eight Golf Challenge

Found the course ,beautifully situated by Repparfjord. Spectacular views of the mountains all around, blue skies and where is the people???? I walked around   took some pictures of the the little log cabin clubhouse. A lady showed up and it happened to be one of the few ladies who plays golf here. Thank-You Brit Larsen for a nice round and great coffee and cake. Just imagine what you can do here, bored of golf go and fish salmon, bored on fishing go and play golf, have your little portable barbecue and there you have a perfect fresh salmon dinner! Since you can play 24 hours here during the summer there will be plenty of time to do all of it.

My experience here was without fishing, however I got to meet a wonderful lady in this beautiful surroundings. Life is good. Oh, you wonder about the score and the course, well the course is also a par 60, just like North Cape, you play the course 3 times.  The last round I learned not to  take chances ,better to be short and in the middle! (lost 4 balls in the wilderness!)

This course is cared for by  the members, just like North Cape Golf Course . It was nice and very very narrow. Good practice to be accurate with the shots. I was sometimes and sometimes not, oh yes my score was 74, nothing to brag about, however I did not have more than 2 putts on any hole.

I did my headstand on the last hole, will down load that when I get to my cord for the camera in Stockholm! We started to play in the sun and clear blue sky, it changed very quickly as the weather does up here and we got some rain too!

It is all included in this adventure, I am prepared for anything. The rein deers  are held outside the course with fences all around it! It is all very exiting I am enjoying in myself a lot and the company I am around is wonderful.

Off to Hammerfest!

Through thick mist several tunnels, one almost 7.000 meters, rein deers and spectacular landscape I arrived to Europes most famous nothern land, the most northern land in Europe is Knivskjellodden, 1457meter further north than North Cape

I took a day of sightseeing. This is spectacular, although Icould not see what it really looked like I could just imagen. To be here where so many both royalties and adventures has been drawn to visit, makes my heart sing. I felt the mystic and the power, it helped that it was foggy , that really added to the mystic. I did my headstand by the signature world wheel. That made some people smile! Will golf tomorrow at the new most Northern course Kvalsund/Hammerfest Golf Course. Had no internet yesterday so this is written the day after!
