The Awesome Eight Golf Challenge is an eccentric British invention – an event designed for either professional or amateur golfers, which will wet the appetite of even seasoned travelers and test the stamina, skills and endurance of young and old alike. In this challenge the golfer needs to play 8 of the worlds most extreme golf courses in one year! The highest in altitude, lowest in altitude, hottest, coldest, most northern, most southern, and the most challenging course in the world. Not many people have done this before, and no women have ever done this challenge before.

When there is a will, and a GREAT cause, there is definitely a way!

Anna-Lena Gustavsson was first introduced to Awesome Eight challenge through the eXtreme golf book by Duncan Lennard where the story of two adventurers Robin Sieger and Neil Laughton was told.

Anna-Lena was so inspired to do  this adventurous fundraising journey.

During the Awesome 8 challenge I know I will laugh, cry, lose a few balls, see the world, meet amazing people, enjoy the rivalry, raise money for Pattaya Orphanage Trust and will on completion, join the honorary members of the most exclusive Golf Society in the World.
