Thank-You cousin Karin and Anders for the wonderful celebration, when it was time to go to bed, the 7 flowers were picked and put under the pillow ,that is the custom and one will dream about the man who will come into ones life. Who I dreamt about is a secret even for me!

Yes, here I am. The world is so small,the girl I sat beside on the flight from Malmo to Stockholm has my brother as a dentist. Start talking to people where ever you are ,there is a connection somewhere!

I have now been interviewed about my journey in Swedish Golf, a magazine that goes out to many many readers. I hope people get inspired and that some $ comes in to the Pattaya Funds. More about the interview when I see what they are going to write. One thing though it was fun and Oscar who did the interview was great and asked a lot of questions.

Since I had to leave my light golf-bag home ,I have now borrowed my niece’s flowerly cute bag. I also got my second sponsor,(my first sponsor was Tom who gave me the FlipIt video camera,that I am learning to use!) Maria  gave me socks, balls and a good book to read, about being kind! Maybe I need to remind myself about that when I cant find my way.That happened already here in  Stockholm and I do speak Swedish! The signs and the streets are different and there are many many many round abouts, one really have to know where to go before you enter one of those circles!

Did get some practice in today, I even got to be friend with my new hybrid 7 iron. Elin my niece gave me a hard time on the putting green.

My car rental  e-mail adventure has paid off. I got a car waiting for me in Lakselv the 17th of July.

I have received letters from Lakselv , North Cape Golf Course. That felt good for a little nervous inaugural single world traveller. Unfortunately Maria can’t join me for this first part.  Hammerfest golf course has also written me and will arrange some one to play with me. 

I got a mail from Alice Springs only local news paper and we will chat when I arrive. Is that cool or what? Read in the paper today that a girl is going even further up North than I am going, to SURF ON ICEBERGS!!!!!! That is the most extreme thing I have heard about so far! Way to go.

Tickets are on line just waiting to be used, I am leaving the 22 of July and will be back the 29 July. That is extreme. I have contacted Alice Spring News and “warned” them I am coming.

Luckely  I saw info about visa, sooooo I gathered I needed that . Thank you Internet, easy as 1 2 3 I applied and now after $39 I have a visa… now its getting closer.

The temperature up in North Cape is LOW and they even had snow!!. I am glad it is another month until i hit the links up there.

More later, I am exited. I did play golf yesterday here in Malmo , Sweden with my sister in wind, rain and sunshine. Some good holes some ops holes! And I am very proud to say that the Swedish soccer-team won their first EM match against the EM champs Greece! That felt good for the Swedish feel feeling…

A world golf  traveller contacted me and told us how to get  a tee time at St Andrews, cool, thank-you Deborah. Deborah Johnson is writing a book about her adventures, playing golf around the world. We have e-mailed each other and the wonder of this kind of communication has proved it self again. I hope to meet with her somewhere in the world.

The baby boomer is not letting any grass grow under our feet!

I have now decided to play both the North Cape golf course and the newest  most northern course that is located in Hammerfest 2 our drive from the old one in Lakselv. There is another company who is oranizing a travel to do the awesome eight golf challenge, how cool is that!

They are doing it somewhat different though. Private plane, luxury stay and guides who takes care of tee  times and so on. I will stick to the original and maybe I will meet the other players somewhere on our journey, that would be very nice. Many thoughts in  my head, there is a lot to arrange, many many miles will be travelled. I am determened to do this the old way!

The original plans have been changed and I am flowing with it. It is not called extreme for nothing…..One thought is to fly to Australia while I am here in Sweden and have vacation
